Some minis I painted back around the time of the dot com bubble...

Image
These are from one of my clients collection. I am trying to find new homes for these characters.

Finally some new zombies!

Image
These are a mix of zombicide and other zombie minis I had. Mostly an experiment in the use of washes as a painting tool.

Mega minis closing up. Lots of zombies

http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2013/03/21/71489/ Its a shame my friend Johnny has to shutdown but this is an opportunity for zombie mini fans to get some great stuff before someone el;se buys the molds. Historically molds Johnny has sold the figs are being sold at 3-4x what Johnny sold them at. Zombicide update

I am very glad I got into the Zombicide season two kickstarter, they are almost up to a million bucks and add stretch goals everyday which is exciting to find in your mailbox!

Zombicide Kickstarter

Black Cat Bases Fly Tipping Pile Scenery

Image
Finally finished this excellent resin garbage dump from Black Cat Bases. Order here; http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=430_442_476&products_id=1596 This will be a part of the scenery I am building for my Post Apocalyptic settings for zombies and general PA.

Red Box Games Zombies Gather

Image
My newest zeds. I liked the truly undead motion in these figures. I did some experimenting on the skins and painting in general using a lot of washes. I intentionally left them with dried blood. Also painting them in various shades of decay as the horde  would have a variety. I painted them all different to more spread out thru the overall horde than to be a matching set.

Zombie from way back

Image
You probably won't see this guy around much anymore. He was an exclusive figure  Johnny Lauck did for Paizo back  when they were in their infancy.  Well I got to paint the fig  and kept a bunch for myself  and painted them up as  modern zombies. I think I still have 1-2 left if anyone  is interested in outrageous  pirate prices, lol!!!

Red Box Lesser Undead

I just got mine in. These are really cool figs, they are moving like zombies should! Service was quick, too. http://red-box-games.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25&products_id=175

Back in black

Image
Today our heroes are all dressed in black, when I painted these black was everything, even the X-men went to black. Of course the Matrix had a heavy influence. These are a variety of  figs and the  Zeds are as well.

Mega minis mega zombie sale!

Now this one I KNOW you guys can get into. http://theminiaturespage.com/news/?id=551378751

Kickstarter 28mm Demons & Devils

I would really love to see this Kickstarter take off, I hope those of you who play fantasy too will check this out. It looks cool as hell, ahem... http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/centerstageminis/28mm-demons-and-devils-center-stage-miniatures

Versus II

Image
Another selection of adversaries this week. The heroes some I painted many many years ago, you may recognize the second figure... Zeds, a priest witha  wooden cross thru his chest, the iconic Zombiesmith, a waitress who would rather serve herself and two more Zombiesmith favorites, at least the one of the end. Still no time to paint my zeds as I rebuild my business and life. I did get in the mail the new Wargames Factory Zombie Vixens, they look suhweet! I can't wait to dig into them, well I guess they would like to dig into me as well. To Bryan and all you other zed freaks, keep the flame burning, you're keeping me inspied to come back :)

Heroes and zeroes

Image
Another big delay as the battle for my life continues. I haven't been able to paint anything new but I did take a few hours and photograph some of my stuff so I am going to put up some survivors and some zeds, each week or whenever I can. I hope you enjoy them.

Victory Force Zombie Cheerleaders

Image
I'm back!!! At least tonight. Its been almost a year. A crazy year with no zombies and no fun :) But we got some real fun tonight. Zombie Cheerleaders!!! From Victory Force, a great set of 6 zombies. This is the first personal painting I have done in ages. I took the opportunity to experiment a bit. I used a fresher look to the zombies, skintones that are almost human. I also used the opportunity to work on my hair technique a bit. Because of the girls red uniforms, I went minimal on the blood. Just by using the skin color lightly the basecoat of black showed thru enough to give a bruised look. I really dont have much time for personal projects so I do these quickly. I try not to be sloppy but I do need quicker techniques than I would do for a client. I hope you like them. They are available for your horde from Victory Force Miniatures; http://www.victoryforce.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VFM&Product_Code=033004&Category_Code=creatures

Facebook Page

I have a new page to display my minis. Its more my commission work but I do put up zombies occasionally as well. You can see what I am doing when not painting zombies. Please LIKE it if you do :) https://www.facebook.com/RogerODellMiniaturePainting

Zombie Dawg

Image
I haven't had much time to work on my zombies while my life falls apart so here's an oldie but goody a zombie wolf or dog. I wish there were more zombie dogs available. Not many besides the occassional  undead wolf. Now go out and pet your dog and be  glad he doesn't loom like this :)

Skinned Zacks

Image
The other version of the Spinespur set, i fear the middle guy was a bit daft and turned around right in the photoshoot. Probably my last post for a while. All my time needs to be put towards work for the time being. Speaking of which I paint zeds for money. Check out my main site at http://rogpaint.homestead.com/ Cheers everyone and thank you!

More Ziggies!

Image
Not much time this week so I'll let the zeds speak for themselves. If anyone would be kind enough to call out what they are I would appreciate it. Sorry about being short winded, but I'm dealing with a full sized crisis, not 30mm :) Cheers!

A mixed bag

Image
The first 2 here are homeless bums who have become  zombies. They are a combination of Wargames Factory zeds and ancient germans.
