Victory Force Zombie Cheerleaders

I'm back!!! At least tonight. Its been almost a year. A crazy year with no zombies and no fun :) But we got some real fun tonight. Zombie Cheerleaders!!! From Victory Force, a great set of 6 zombies. This is the first personal painting I have done in ages. I took the opportunity to experiment a bit. I used a fresher look to the zombies, skintones that are almost human. I also used the opportunity to work on my hair technique a bit. Because of the girls red uniforms, I went minimal on the blood. Just by using the skin color lightly the basecoat of black showed thru enough to give a bruised look. I really dont have much time for personal projects so I do these quickly. I try not to be sloppy but I do need quicker techniques than I would do for a client. I hope you like them. They are available for your horde from Victory Force Miniatures;

    1. Thanks Brummie, I had a blast painting them. In fact they helped bring me down off an anxiety attack-working too hard. Painting is good therapy!

  2. I like them a lot! It's good to have you back, Roger. Is the letter M on their fronts significant? I'm thinking Mayhem City but that's just because my campaign is set there.

    1. Thanks Bryan, I hope to have more stuffed painted, at least a few each week to keep me sane. The M stands for my old high school and the uniforms are real but simplified.

  3. Those are excellent! I like your treatment of the skintone. I had seen the unpainted minis on the VF site, and thought they looked okay. Now, after seeing your paintjobs on them, they are a must have.

  4. These look great, I love the varying skintones.
    VF have had these out for a while and I was wondering who'd be the first to show them off!

    Great come-back Roger

    1. Thank you, Zabadak, its great to paint some z's again. In fact I have had these in the works for a very long time. I wasn't sure they would get this good of a reception I am happy.

  5. Thank you all so much!!! Bryan, the M stands for a real life community I used to live in. The uniforms are accurate as well :) I am glad the skintones are going over well. I wanted to try out recently dead skintones. Not human but not quite a rotter either. Some of my tans came out darker than I expected but I like the effect. I am glad that by showing this VF may get more customers, they have really great service and ship super fast. BTW I have over 100 of their figs to paint :) They do however, have a simpler line of zombies that they admit to being filler for large groups and they aren't as nice as these but are still better than they claim.
