Victory Force Zombie Cheerleaders
I'm back!!! At least tonight. Its been almost a year. A crazy year with no zombies and no fun :) But we got some real fun tonight. Zombie Cheerleaders!!! From Victory Force, a great set of 6 zombies. This is the first personal painting I have done in ages. I took the opportunity to experiment a bit. I used a fresher look to the zombies, skintones that are almost human. I also used the opportunity to work on my hair technique a bit. Because of the girls red uniforms, I went minimal on the blood. Just by using the skin color lightly the basecoat of black showed thru enough to give a bruised look. I really dont have much time for personal projects so I do these quickly. I try not to be sloppy but I do need quicker techniques than I would do for a client. I hope you like them. They are available for your horde from Victory Force Miniatures; http://www.victoryforce.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VFM&Product_Code=033004&Category_Code=creatures
Versus II
Another selection of adversaries this week. The heroes some I painted many many years ago, you may recognize the second figure... Zeds, a priest witha wooden cross thru his chest, the iconic Zombiesmith, a waitress who would rather serve herself and two more Zombiesmith favorites, at least the one of the end. Still no time to paint my zeds as I rebuild my business and life. I did get in the mail the new Wargames Factory Zombie Vixens, they look suhweet! I can't wait to dig into them, well I guess they would like to dig into me as well. To Bryan and all you other zed freaks, keep the flame burning, you're keeping me inspied to come back :)
Ooh, shiny new figures that I've never seen before! I don't know anything about Chronoscape, so these just passed my by. Lovely paintjobs, as usual, Roger. I particularly like the three female figures. Very nice! I could probably find a use for most of these figures, so I'll keep a lookout for them. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThey are Reaper figs and for some reason, they still don't have a great presence in Europe. I don't understand this because they are a huge company. Glad you like them. They have some interesting characters, thats for sure!
ReplyDeleteErrata, I would like to point out that the guy in camo is noy a Chronoscope figure. I believe he's a Wyrd Miniature.
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice. The guy in camo is favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe guy in camo is actually the "Greygun" figure from SpineSpur line, by Comfy Chair Games, I do believe.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I just realized that I'm not following your blog! I don't know how that happened, but I got it down now so I won't be missing any more. I love the afro-man, gotta keep the eyes peeled for some.
