More zombies - cool! Excellent paintjobs on them. You mentioned that the first two were WF conversions but I don't recognise the third and fourth in line. The last in is the Gene Kelly zombie by Musketeer Miniatures (a great sculpt).
#4 I think is a Ral Partha Ravenloft werewolf in changing. Not sure. I thought he would make a good southern biker zed with the hair and cowboy boots. #3 I'm not sure of. I've been buying up small sets the last year or so and got them mixed up so I dont have all the data. Maybe another member will recognize this one. Thanks for eyeballin the Muskateer fig. I tried to down play the Gene Kelly thing because I have so many 'novelty' zombies I want to try and get my horde looking more like a mob.
Finally finished this excellent resin garbage dump from Black Cat Bases. Order here; http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=430_442_476&products_id=1596 This will be a part of the scenery I am building for my Post Apocalyptic settings for zombies and general PA.
Hello zombfans, unfortunately I have been unable to post anything or even paint any zeds for that matter. Life got in the way. But I have started painting little by little and here I have a jumble of a variety of zombies. Anyway I will let the zombies do the talking. Here are some juvenile survivors. These guys are rage zombies from the game Road Rage. These last three were gifts from my good friend, Vampifan Bryan Scott, they are very old Citadel zeds. Thanks Bryan I love these guys!
I'm back!!! At least tonight. Its been almost a year. A crazy year with no zombies and no fun :) But we got some real fun tonight. Zombie Cheerleaders!!! From Victory Force, a great set of 6 zombies. This is the first personal painting I have done in ages. I took the opportunity to experiment a bit. I used a fresher look to the zombies, skintones that are almost human. I also used the opportunity to work on my hair technique a bit. Because of the girls red uniforms, I went minimal on the blood. Just by using the skin color lightly the basecoat of black showed thru enough to give a bruised look. I really dont have much time for personal projects so I do these quickly. I try not to be sloppy but I do need quicker techniques than I would do for a client. I hope you like them. They are available for your horde from Victory Force Miniatures; http://www.victoryforce.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VFM&Product_Code=033004&Category_Code=creatures
Great work. Love the way you've put together the WF zed bits so that scale isn't an issue, good job.
ReplyDeletegood job, like the boots on the 4th one, like the skin tone too.

Thanks for the info, Roger. That's another one to look out for. :)
ReplyDeleteIt comes in a set, the female is in the first new image I posted since last year. The sets worth it for her alone!
